This day, after breakfast, we drive southwest of Arusha to Tarangire National Park, which has one of the highest elephant population throughout Tanzania. its sparse vegetation is strewn with baobab- and acacia trees, thus making it a paradise in a savanna. Before the rainy season begins, droves of gazelles, wildebeest, zebras and giraffes are in the National Park, where they will remain for the last pasture before the rain start’s when the local migration take palace. A large number of elephants live in the park as well as lions, leopards and cheetahs. Towards evening you will be driven to Karatu for overnight at  Eiliens tree Inn Lodge(fb/full board) or similer where you will stay for a night.

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will continue your trip to Ngorongoro Crater. Also called the eight wonder of the world, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the crater landscape with its own vegetation which will take your breath away. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its 304 square kilometers and its up to 600 meters high crater walls, counts to the most intact, not flooded volcanic craters in the world. Before Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed  about 2 million years ago, it was one of the world´s tallest mountains. Now it`s a home of more than 25,000 large mammals - such as the rhinoceros, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, gazelles, buffalo and more - with one of the highest predator density in the world. Towards evening you will drive back to Karatu for a night stay at: Eiliens Tree Inn Lodge (fb/full board)'.

After breakfast you will have a natural walking safari around Ngorongoro Highland at Elephant Carve with packed lunch before driving to Arusha. This walking will lead you to the Elephant Curve where they dig mineral rich soil and consume it, at the same area you will enjoy a water fall visit where by the whole activity will take 2.5 to 3 hours then letter go for a place to have lunch and then continue your drive back to Arusha. During descend, down from the highlands to the valley. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful views across the Great Rift Valley. You will reach Arusha early to continue your vacation to your next destination; for example with an afternoon flight to Zanzibar or to another location of your choice.
