This day, after breakfast, we drive southwest of Arusha to Tarangire National Park, which has one of the highest elephant population throughout Tanzania. its sparse vegetation is strewn with baobab- and acacia trees, thus making it a very special place. Before the rainy season begins, droves of gazelles, wildebeest, zebras and giraffes are in the National Park, where they will remain for the last pasture. A large number of elephants live in the park as well as lions, leopards and cheetahs.With packed lunch you will have lunch at the picnic site then later Afternoon drive to Karatu for overnight at Eiliens tree Inn Lodge (full board/ fb).

Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will continue your trip to Ngorongoro Crater. Also called the eight wonder of the world, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the crater landscape with its own vegetation which will take your breath away. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its 304 square kilometers and its up to 600 meters high crater walls, counts to the most intact, unflooded and unbroken volcanic craters of the world. Before Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed  about 2.5 to 3 million years ago, it was one of the world´s tallest mountains. Now it`s a home of more than 25.000 large mammals - such as the rhinoceros, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, gazelles, buffalo and more - with one of the highest predator density in the world. Towards afternoon after Lunch or lunch on your way drive back to back to Arusha. END OF THE TOUR.
