Full Detailed Itinerary

06:30 AM – Hotel Pickup (Moshi or Arusha)

Your guide will pick you up early for a scenic drive toward Kilimanjaro's lush highlands.

08:00 AM – Materuni Village Tour & Waterfall Hike

Arrive in Materuni, a picturesque village nestled at 1,600m above sea level. Start a guided hike through banana and coffee plantations to reach the Materuni Waterfalls, where you’ll enjoy a refreshing dip (optional). The hike offers breathtaking views of the mountain if weather permits.

10:00 AM – Chagga Cultural Experience & Coffee Tour

Return to the village for a deep dive into the Chagga tribe’s traditions. Learn the art of traditional coffee making — from bean picking to roasting and grinding — and enjoy a cup of organic Arabica coffee with locally prepared snacks. Participate in traditional dances and folklore storytelling.

12:30 PM – Local Tanzanian Lunch

Savor a hot, local meal prepared with traditional Tanzanian flavors. Enjoy dishes like banana stew, rice, beans, and seasonal fruits.

02:00 PM – Transfer to Arusha National Park (Optional Wildlife Upgrade)

Head to Arusha National Park, home to giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the black-and-white colobus monkey. Enjoy a short game drive and scenic views of Mount Meru and Ngurdoto Crater. (Wildlife experience can be replaced with an extended cultural village visit if preferred.)

05:00 PM – Scenic Sundowner Stop

Pause at a scenic location overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro or Mount Meru for a short break and photo opportunities.

06:30 PM – Return to Hotel (Arusha or Moshi)
