After breakfast, during your trip to the Lake Manyara National park, you will receive a cultural gain insight into villages and towns such as ‚Mto wa mbu. Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley and thus forms a beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Even masses of flamingos and other water birds around the lake are famous for this park. Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will continue your trip to Ngorongoro Crater. Also called the eight wonder of the world, you will enjoy a fantastic view over the crater landscape with its own vegetation which will take your breath away. The Ngorongoro Crater, with its 304 square kilometers and its up to 610 meters high crater walls, counts to the most intact, not flooded volcanic craters in the world. Before Ngorongoro Volcano exploded and collapsed  about 2 to 3 million years ago, it was one of the world´s tallest mountains. Now it`s a home of more than 25,000 large mammals - such as the rhinoceros, lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, gazelles, buffalo and more - with one of the highest predator density in the world. Towards evening you will drive back to Karatu for a night stay at: Eiliens Tree Inn Lodge (fb/full board)'.
